The Baskets

The Peterboro Basket Company is the oldest basket making company in the United States. The baskets are hand made on site in Peterboro, NH and are made from Appalachian White Ash. Solid brass nails are used to prevent rusting and all of the hardware is brass coated. Since 1854 Peterboro Basket has been producing beautiful baskets made to last. They are a gift holding gifts!

The Silver Jewelry and Pewter Accessories

Designs by Loriece is a U.S. company located in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. The company was established in 2006 to complement its Canadian counterpart Bits and Pieces Equine Jewelry. Loriece is a world class designer who maintains a steadfast decision to have all materials, labor, and manufacturing obtained or carried out in the U.S. or Canada.

The Plush Toys

The Mary Meyer Company has been offering quality stuffed animals and toys since 1933. The Equine Gift Basket home page features the white pony "Sugar" and the Organic Taggies Soft Pony. This timeless cream pony is made of 100% certified organic cotton, pure silk and eco-friendly safe dyes. It is a 2009 Winner of the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Seal Award. Look for this wonderful organic plush toy in an Equine Gift Basket coming in early spring 2010.

Artwork

Frederique Poulain was born and trained in France and hand paints exquisite one of a kind equestrian art. She has designed and painted the unique centerpiece tablemats for Equine Gift Basket. Frederique resides in central Virginia where she combines her love of horses with her artwork.

Hope Holland is the creative mind and artist behind the colorful and clever note cards. We look forward to including more of Hope's illustrations in future gift baskets. Hope lives in Germantown, Maryland.

Diane Manter Brown of Byfield, MA has designed and handcrafted the ribbons and bows offered in our baskets. Diane grew up in the show ring and knows the importance of standing out in the crowd. These fashion forward bows will help capture the judge's eye!

Joanne Stephens has been riding hunter and jumpers her entire life and enjoys creating art that reflects her equestrian background. Joanne's love of horses and talent can be seen in the imaginitive magnetic list pads in our baskets. Joanne resides in Southern California.

Treats

The treats in Equine Gift Basket are from Withers and Withers. Their Nutra -Treats collection of equine goodies are made from human grade organic ingredients.

The Tumbler

Aladdin Tumblers are eco-friendly and 100% PBA free. They are also microwaveable and top rack dishwasher safe!
